SixDo Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
SixDo ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does, and does not do, with information.
In short: the app collects nothing, and sends nothing anywhere.
1. Information we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information — no name, email address, or phone number; no location; no device identifiers such as the IDFA; and no analytics, usage, or behavioural data.
There is no account to create and no sign-in.
2. The tasks you write
Everything you type into the app stays on your iPhone. Neither the developer nor any third party can read it. Deleting the app removes that data from your device.
3. iCloud backup
Your tasks and history are included in your iPhone's regular iCloud backup, so that restoring a backup or setting up a new phone brings them back. This is Apple's backup of your own device, encrypted and tied to your Apple ID. The developer has no access to it.
If you would rather this data not be backed up, turn off iCloud Backup for SixDo in the iOS Settings app.
4. Exporting your data
The app can write your tasks and history to a file so you can move them to another phone. That file is created on your device and goes only where you send it. The app does not upload it anywhere.
5. Notifications
Notifications are scheduled locally on your iPhone. There is no push server, and nothing about your tasks leaves the device in order to send them. You can choose whether task names appear in a notification, and you can turn notifications off entirely.
6. Purchases
SixDo Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. Payment details are never seen or stored by the app or the developer. The app only receives confirmation from Apple that a purchase exists.
7. Advertising
The app shows no advertising of any kind, and therefore performs none of the tracking that advertising involves.
8. Sharing with third parties
As described above, the app collects no information, so there is nothing to share.
9. Links to other services
The app contains a link to a contact form hosted on Google Forms. Information you choose to submit there is handled under Google's privacy policy, not this one.
10. Children's privacy
The app collects no information from anyone, at any age, and is safe to use by children.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app changes. Any update will be published on this page, with the date above.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent through Settings > Contact in the app, or from the support page.
