Misekago Support
Thank you for using Misekago. Misekago is a shopping list for iPhone that keeps what you need to buy separate for each store — the supermarket, the drugstore, a clothing store, a home goods store. When you pass by a store, it reminds you what to buy there, so you don't forget.
How it works
1. Add the stores you go to.
2. Write down what to buy at each store. You can add a quantity, a note and a photo.
3. Items are sorted automatically by section (16 sections plus Other).
4. Tap to add things you buy often, or add your usual items all at once.
5. Items you bought are cleared from the list automatically the next morning.
Reminders near a store
Add a store's location, and when you pass nearby, Misekago reminds you what to buy there.
You can add up to 3 locations per store, either by searching for the store's name or by using where you are now, and check them on a map. Choose how close you need to be: 100 m, 300 m or 500 m.
Reminders for the same store are at least 4 hours apart, and no reminders are sent between 10 pm and 7 am.
This feature needs location access set to "Always" and notifications allowed. Whether you are near a store is checked only on your iPhone, and no location history is kept. See the privacy policy for details.
Purchase history
See what you bought and when in History, by the date you bought it, for up to one year. Records older than one year are deleted automatically.
Moving to a new iPhone
Misekago backs up your data to your own iCloud, in a space only this app uses, once a day (you can turn this off in Settings). Bringing your data over to a new iPhone is free.
Widgets
You can add widgets to your Lock Screen and Home Screen (Misekago Pro).
Misekago Pro
Misekago is free and has no ads. On the free plan you can add up to 5 stores and use reminders near a store for 1 store.
Misekago Pro is a one-time purchase (US$6.99), not a subscription, and supports Family Sharing. It adds:
Unlimited stores (5 on the free plan)
Reminders near every store (1 store on the free plan)
Widgets (Lock Screen and Home Screen)
More looks (how the store list and shopping list are shown, and four themes)
Purchases are handled by Apple. If you bought it before (after changing phones or reinstalling), tap Restore purchase on the Settings tab. It is tied to your Apple ID, so there is no extra charge.
FAQ
Q. I passed by a store but got no reminder
A. Please check the following:
· In the iPhone Settings app → Misekago → Location, it is set to "Always"
· In Settings → Misekago → Notifications, notifications are allowed
· Low Power Mode is off (when it is on, reminders may be late or may not arrive)
· The store's location is in the right place and the distance is not too small (you can check this on the map)
Also, no reminders are sent between 10 pm and 7 am, and reminders for the same store are at least 4 hours apart, so passing the same store again within 4 hours will not send another one. On the free plan, reminders near a store work for 1 store.
Q. Items I bought are gone from my list
A. Items you bought are cleared from the list automatically the next morning. You can see what you bought and when in History, by date (for one year).
Q. Can I move my data to a new iPhone?
A. Misekago backs up to your own iCloud once a day. Use the same Apple ID on your new iPhone and your data comes over, free.
Q. Pro is not showing as purchased
A. Tap "Restore purchase" on the Settings tab. You need to be signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy it.
Q. I can't add any more stores
A. The free plan allows up to 5 stores. With Misekago Pro you can add as many as you like.
Q. Are there ads?
A. No.
Q. Where is my data stored?
A. Only on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Nothing is sent to the developer. See the privacy policy.
Q. Is there an Android version?
A. Not at the moment.
