Miokuru ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does, and does not do, with information.

In short: the app collects nothing, and sends nothing to the developer.

1. Information we collect

None. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information — no name, email address, or phone number; no location; no device identifiers such as the IDFA; and no analytics, usage, or behavioural data. There is no account to create and no sign-in.

2. Your records and photos

The items, prices, goals, questions and answers you enter, and any photos you attach, are stored on your iPhone. Neither the developer nor any third party can see them. Deleting the app removes this data from your device.

3. Moving to a new iPhone with iCloud

So you can move to a new iPhone, the app saves your records, photos, goals, questions and settings to your own iCloud Drive, in a folder only this app uses (you can turn automatic backup off in Settings). This storage belongs to your Apple ID; the developer has no access to it.

The app's data is also included in your iPhone's regular iCloud backup.

4. Photos and camera

The app asks for access to your photo library and camera only so you can attach a photo of the item you are thinking about. Photos are resized and stored on your device, and are not sent anywhere except to your own iCloud as described above.

5. In-app purchase

Purchases of Miokuru Pro are handled by Apple (the App Store). The developer never receives or stores your payment information. Purchases and refunds follow Apple's terms.

6. About the amounts

The amounts the app shows as "saved" are numbers the app keeps count of. The app never connects to a bank account or card, and never moves real money.

7. Advertising

The app shows no ads, and therefore collects no information for advertising.

8. Sharing with third parties

Because the app collects no information, there is nothing to share.

9. External links

The app links to a contact form (Google Forms). Information you enter there is handled under that provider's privacy policy.

10. Children's privacy

Because the app collects no information, it is safe to use at any age.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when needed. Any changes will be posted on this page.

12. Contact

For questions about this policy, use "Settings > Contact" in the app, or the support page.
