Miharu Support
Thank you for using Miharu. Miharu lists only the money that goes out every month — your fixed and variable bills — and keeps an eye on it. See what it adds up to in a year, compare bills that change (like power and gas) with the same month last year, and review them so more money stays with you each year.
How to use
1. On Home, tap “Add common bills at once” and enter amounts for things like rent or mortgage, power, phone, and subscriptions.
2. For bills that change (variable bills), enter the amount under “This month’s bills” on Home when the bill arrives. If it’s the same every month, just tap “Same as last month”.
3. Open an item to see 12 months of history and the difference from the same month last year.
4. In the Review tab, mark a review idea as “Done” and the money you now keep each year goes up.
Fixed and variable
Fixed: the same amount every time (mortgage, rent, HOA fees, subscriptions, monthly insurance)
Variable: paid every month but the amount changes, or paid once a year (utilities, phone, internet, lessons, yearly insurance or taxes)
How amounts are counted
For variable bills, “per month” is the average of the last 12 months of bills. Yearly bills are divided by 12. Bills paid every 2 months (like water) count half of each bill per month. Items with an end month drop out of your totals automatically after that month.
Changing phones
Miharu backs up your data and settings to your own iCloud Drive once a day (free). When you open Miharu on a new iPhone, you’ll see “Found data from your previous iPhone” — choose “Bring it over”.
iCloud Drive must be turned on in the iPhone’s Settings → your name → iCloud (signing in alone is not enough). You can back up or restore manually in “Settings > iCloud backup”.
Miharu Pro
Miharu is free and has no ads. iCloud backup is free too.
Miharu Pro is a one-time purchase (not a subscription) and adds:
Unlimited items (free: up to 10)
Home styles (free: Meter. With Pro you can switch to Receipt or Money map)
If you bought it before (after changing phones or reinstalling), tap “Restore purchase” in “Settings > Miharu Pro”. It’s tied to your Apple ID, so there’s no extra charge.
